Winter Holiday Break

MTCHS will be closed from 2:30 PM on December 21, 2018 to 7:00 AM January 7, 2019. We wish a very happy holiday season to all and a prosperous and happy new year!

VEX Robotics

Our VEX Robotics team is competing in Nampa today.  The last word we got was that they were in the top six for the “Excellence Award!”  No matter how they finish, it looks like they’re having fun!

Tech Party starts now!

The decorating team has been working so hard to make this the most festive Tech Party ever!  We can’t wait…!

Tech Party Tomorrow!

The decorating committee started putting up decorations for the TECH PARTY tomorrow!

If you don’t have your tickets yet, it’s not too late!  Festivities begin at 3:00 and go until 9:00.

Fortnite, VR, Raspberry Pi, Smash Bros and other console games. Great prizes, pizza and soft drinks, a firepit, volleyball, dodgeball, and more, all brought to you by SkillsUSA!

Tickets prices: $15 at the door, $13 for 8th graders and early purchasers, and $10 for STOR members.

Tickets are for sale at MTCHS before school and during lunch, and at the door on friday afternoon here.

Holiday Baskets

There’s one more day left in the Student Government Holiday Dinner Basket Drive!  One more chance to bring in those last few items to your first hour’s basket.  On Friday morning we finalize decorating the baskets and seeing which class has the best, brightest, most amazing holiday gift basket!

Then Student Government loads up all the wonderful baskets and takes them to the Salvation Army for distributing.  We have heard that our baskets are highly anticipated and appreciated!

We still very much need donations for the gift cards for the families to purchase their turkeys/hams, etc.  If every student brought in $1 we could provide a $20 gift card for each of the 10 baskets.

Donations are tax deductible, and if you would like to donate more than $1, a receipt can be provided by Mrs. Claflin at the front office.
