Tickets are now on sale for Friday’s E-Sports Tournament, featuring Fortnite, Smash Bros, Rocket League, and League of Legends (if we get enough teams!) Gaming starts at 4 pm and goes until 7 pm. Congratulations to Beckett Bodell and Mitch Fairbanks for qualifying as semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship competition! They are two of the top 16,000 scorers out of 1.5 million students that entered the competition. Congratulations to Shanti Mickins and Fernando Giovanni Soto who received letters of commendation for the competition. Commended students placed among the top 50,000 scorers on the PSAT/NMSQ test of more than 1.5 million students. We are so proud of all of you!
Thursday, September 26th is the first Professional Dress Day of the year! Please remember to dress professionally, this will be a grade in the Citizenship and Professionalism class.
Calling all students! It’s time once again for our annual Back To School Bash coming up this Friday, September 13 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.! The MTCHS Student Government, fabulous hosts that they are, will be providing hot dogs, soda, and chips along with dodgeball, frisbee, and lots of other fun activities! This exciting annual event is free for all MTCHS students, who may bring one lucky guest for $2.00. We encourage all students to join in, come hang out with your friends, meet some new ones, and have a blast at the Bash!
