February 14 is the MTCHS SkillsUSA Tech Fair! This is our qualifying event for the SkillsUSA Idaho State Conference. Students will be competing in events such as Advertising Design, Computer Programming, Electronics Technology, Speech, Job Interview, and Video Production. All students are required to wear professional dress for the Tech Fair.
The lottery for incoming ninth-graders for the 2020-2021 school year will close tomorrow evening. Once you successfully complete your application, you will receive a confirmation email. Guess which team just took first place in the High School Idaho Entrepreneurial Challenge!!! CONGRATULATIONS, team TRAVLAR!!! Great job, we’re so proud and excited for you! Our other students were amazing as well… TeamMate also placed, taking 4th Place in the contest! It’s a great day for Dragons!
MTCHS is proud to be sending three teams to the Idaho High School Entrepreneurial Challenge at Boise State University today. These teams were selected as the best of the best ideas from our senior class projects, and they all have some really exciting startups to pitch! Go get ’em, teams!
Congratulations to Networking instructor Dennis Beebe! Dennis was named the IETA (Idaho Education Technology Association) Educator of the Year today! There is no questioning the time and effort Dennis devotes to the students and to the school, this is a very well-deserved recognition! Great job, Mr. Beebe!

All schools in the West Ada School District will be closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day/Human Rights Day on Monday, January 20.
January 16th and 17 will be early release days for all West Ada schools. MTCHS classes will be released at 10:20.
School hours are 7:45am to 2:10pm
