WCA Food Drive

MTCHS Student Government is partnering with the Women’s & Children’s Alliance for a food drive.  The WCA is a nonprofit organization that helps survivors of sexual assault and domestic abuse get back on their feet.  Our goal is to donate 400 food items or more to help this amazing cause.  Donation possibilities: Cereal, granola bars, crackers, trail mix, soup, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruits & vegetables, rice, tea, sugar, etc.  Please make sure the food is not expired and is nonperishable (canned/boxed)
They could also use some general household items such as: Trash bags, zip-lock bags, shampoo, conditioner, etc.
The grade that brings in the most items by October 31 will win an extra 10 minutes at lunch!
Thank you for all of your help!

PSAT Testing, October 10

On Wednesday, October 10th, the sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT during the regular school day. This is a preliminary or practice SAT for the most part. Juniors, however, can qualify as National Merit Scholars if they score well. Testing will begin at 7:55 and last until lunchtime.

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a standardized test administered by the College Board and cosponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) in the United States.
