2018-2019 Honor Society Officers

National Honor Society has elected officers for the 2018-2019 school year.  Congratulations to Secretary Beckett Bodell, Treasurer Nathan Gripentrog, President Connor Ashton, and Vice President Victor Suggs!

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.

Four main purposes have guided chapters of NHS from the beginning: to create enthusiasm for scholarship; to stimulate a desire to render service; to promote leadership; and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. These purposes also translate into the criteria used for membership selection in each local chapter.

Business Partners Breakfast

The senior class is waiting to welcome our community partners at our celebration breakfast this morning. This event is our thank you to all who have opened their businesses to our interns. Our business partners are vitally important to our program by providing experience, guidance, and leadership to our students. In turn, we appreciate your enthusiasm for the knowledge and skills our students have to offer.
Congratulations, Seniors, on successfully completing your required 280 internship hours!
After the Business Partners Breakfast is our Junior Intern fair, where our new group of interns will be ready to present their resumés and work samples to prospective employees.
