KIDO Visit

We are excited to announce that KIDO will be broadcasting Kevin Miller’s radio program, “Promote Our Schools, Secure Our Future” from MTCHS on April 12 from 6 to 9 a.m.  We wish to thank them for including us in their schedule.  Be sure to tune in on 580AM or 107.5FM to hear the show!
Kevin Miller believes in the power of education, which is why he does his broadcast from a different school every week. Kevin lets the people (administrators, teachers and students) who are in the education trenches speak about what is really happening in our schools.  Many thanks to CapEd and Team Mazda for their funding and support of this important program!

Prom Night!

Hey Dragons!

Student Council is excited to announce we will be holding a Prom to celebrate the end of the year! It will take place at Trailhead in Downtown Boise on Saturday, April 28 from 710pm.

It will be a semi-formal dance, so get dressed up, but there is no need to break out a tuxedo or other super fancy dress (unless you want to). All grade levels are invited, so bring a date (or don’t) or come with friends – everyone is welcome! Ticket prices will be $15 for an individual and $25 for a couple’s ticket. Many more details to come!

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions for the dance, please contact one of your Student Council representatives. We hope to see you there!

Junior SATs

It’s almost here; SAT testing for our Juniors is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10 here at MTCHS!  There will be no school for grades 9, 10, and 12.

Information about SATs can be found here: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat

Pro tips for the day of the SATs can be found here: https://www.powerscore.com/sat/help/testday.cfm  (You may not be thinking about things like snacks and water bottles in the stress of remembering your #2 pencils!)

Good luck, Juniors!
